Within easy reach, there are sandy beaches at Polzeath, Trebarwith Strand, Daymer Bay, and Rock, where you can surf, sailboard, swim, walk or just relax.
You can wander round the picturesque and historic harbours at Port Isaac (Doc Martin), Boscastle or Padstow.
The more energetic can walk Bodmin Moor or the South West Coast Path - we’ve books and maps to borrow - play golf, ride or cycle the Camel Trail from Wadebridge.
Near Camelford you’ll find the Lakefield Equestrian Centre, with the most extensive facilities in Cornwall providing everything from lessons to hacks for all ages and abilities. First class instruction in first class facilities.
There are historic houses at Lanhydrock, Pencarrow and Prideaux Place and the atmospheric castle ruins at Tintagel (legendary seat of King Arthur).
Garden lovers will find a wealth of gardens and specialist nurseries within easy reach not forgetting Eden and Heligan, both about 45 minutes away!
At the end of the day, relax and enjoy a drink and a meal at one of the wide variety of pubs and restaurants nearby. There’s The Cornish Arms, just a short walk away and a variety of pubs and restaurants in Port Isaac and other surrounding villages. We’ll even do our best to book you a table.
